A blind taste testing of Barolo (Gaja) vs Barbaresco (Paitin) was held at Rimessa. The results was a surprising and overwhelming pick for the Paitin Barbaresco. Watch the video below to see for yourself!

Paitin is one of the oldest cellars in Piedmont. And as Alessandro says when he first smells the wine “this is a big one and worthy of good music, company, aged cheeses and contemplation”.

Pairings:  Ideal with prime rib, a bone-in steak, truffle dishes, quality aged Parmigiano, stews and rich dishes.
Winemaking Notes:  Producing wine since 1796 - 5th generation. 40 day macerations, Franco-Limoso soil with fossil substrate, 24 months in Slavonian oak, working biodynamically with some massale selections.
