Barolo Riserva DOCG San Bernardo 2013 – Palladino

Palladinio is a family run winery in Sarralunga d’Alba. San Bernardo is a small cru wine only 1200 bottles.

The nebbiolo grapes are grown on blue marl clay common to the south of Barolo. The clay gives the wine a unique savory taste of the land more than of heavy fruit. Flavors of balsamic and licorice roots, with a soft dry finish.
