Muscatedda 2017 – Marabino
The essence of what a wine should be! A synthesis of biodynamics, a grape variety (Moscato), a region (Noto), and the genius of a winemaker (Pierpaolo). One of those wines that answers to my question ‘why do I like wine’. You sense the hints of santolina (a local thyme) and lavendar, the refreshing winds due to elevation, and the aromatic fruit aromas of dry apricot and honey. This dry version of Moscato spends 14 days with the skin giving this wine a uniquely polarized expression on the nose (sweet) and palate (dry).
